INTRODUCE yourself to your squad mates prior to the beginning of the round.
SQUAD LIMITATION…Limit squad size to six shooters for safety and the time it takes to shoot a round with more than six shooters for skeet, and five on trap.
QUIET, PLEASE…refrain from talking or other distractions while squad members are shooting.
NEXT—Move to the next station only after each shooter has completed the round.
BEGINNERS should only load single rounds and shoot singles until becoming familiar with the routine.
- First time shooters should shoot with more experienced shooters
- QUESTIONS? Ask the more experienced squad members…they’ll be happy to help.
EMPTY SHELLS…Empty shells should be quickly and immediately picked up AFTER the round is completed.
BE PREPARED…Bring all equipment needed to the field before the round starts. NEVER, EVER forget eye and ear protection.
DON’T monopolize a field. Show courtesy for your fellow shooters.
FINISHING…At station #8, don’t leave the field until the last person has shot.
FINAL CALL…No squad shall begin a round after 4:30pm…Check with the official club clock in the Field House. Check with club personnel in the Field House regarding the final round.
